Pet Care from the Heart
Gemini Pet Services is owned and operated by Beth Smith.
Beth is a 1987 graduate of Council Rock High School. In 1994 she received her Associate Degree in Computer Engineering Technology.
Beth grew up with animals. Her family owned horses, ducks, dogs and cats. She inherited her love of animals from her father, Bob Smith. She showed horses in Western speed events with her father and brothers.
Beth worked in the electronics industry from 1994 to 2012, when she was laid off due to downsizing. Just before getting laid off she adopted a dog, from the SPCA, and named her Gemini. As it turns out Gemini suffers from severe separation anxiety.
One day, Beth returned home to find trash strewn all over her kitchen floor. It was at that moment that she decided to become a dog trainer so that she could help Gemini and other dogs like her.
December 2012, Beth graduated, with honors, from Animal Behavior College, with a certification in dog training.
March 2013 she started Gemini Pet Services; naming the company after her dog, Gemini, because she inspired her to help dogs who suffer with anxiety issues.
Gemini Pet Services is not just a company, it is Beth’s heart and soul. Her mission in life is to help animals. She is currently taking classes to become a certified cat trainer; in addition to her dog training certification.
